Low Cost Airlines

Low Cost Airlines

Low cost airlines or budget airlines offer cheap airline tickets to passengers who don’t mind less comfort (less space for legs and only one hand baggage). To make up for the lost money in decreased ticket prices (from 15€ to 100€), low cost airlines may charge for extras like priority boarding, seat alloceating, food, drinks, extra baggage, lucky tickets, etc.

Currently the European largest low cost airlines are the Irish Ryanair, British Easyjet, Norwegian Air and Hungarian Wizz air

Low coast airlines are know to operate with minimum costs. Some of the tricks they use: Using a small number of different types of aircraft to reduce the cost of aircraft maintenance. Air ticket includes only hand luggage. Fly to smaller airports of major cities. Minimum number of employees in administration. Airline tickets are sold exclusively via Internet. Minimum number of representative and field offices. Planes have only economy class. Their service covers only the carriage and all other services are additionally paid.
